Expediting Services
In the world of hunting, the adventure doesn’t end once you’ve made your kill; it’s only the beginning.
The real challenge lies in preserving that exhilarating moment for a lifetime, and that’s precisely where our expediting services come into play.
Located in the epicenter of New Zealand’s hunting region, our purpose-built facility in Wanaka ensures that your trophy moves seamlessly from the wilderness to your wall.

How our Expediting works
Step 1:
Before your trip, we recommend filling out our online job card.
Complete your Job card here : Job Card
Step 2:
Once your hunt is complete, consult with your hunting guide or outfitter. They will provide you with a hard copy of our job cards. Please ensure you complete all fields and provide details about the species you’ve harvested and provide an itemized description of instructions for processing.
Step 3:
Your trophies will be delivered to our premises with your completed job card. We begin processing your trophies immediately upon their arrival. For this reason, it’s crucial to have a detailed description on your job card. If you’re undecided about whether to keep your skull whole or have it cut, make sure to note that and consult with your guide, as we will be skinning and boiling the skulls daily as they arrive.
Step 4:
Upon receiving your trophies and job card, we’ll send you an introductory email listing the received trophies currently in processing. We’ll also confirm all details with you to initiate the shipping documentation.
Step 5:
Once the hides are processed, they will enter a drying stage lasting 3-4 weeks. The skulls will be boiled, peroxided, and dried immediately. We custom-measure each client’s shipment to ensure crate size is kept to a minimum.
Step 6.
After the crate has been measured, we’ll provide a freight quote for shipping to the port of entry. We’ll then send you an invoice for all completed work, including preparation, crating, packing, trucking, documentation, and freight to the port of entry.
Step 7
Upon receipt of payment, we’ll notify you and forward all documents to your broker for review. Once they approve, we’ll label your crate and arrange for a trucking company to transport it to our freight forwarder at Christchurch International Airport. Afterward, we’ll send the approved documents to our freight forwarder, who will make the booking and send pre-alert documents. At this point, our freight forwarder, NZ Taxidermy, you (the client), and your broker will be included in an email chain for final approval.
Step 8:
Your shipment will arrive in your destination country, where your broker will handle clearance. They will contact you directly to arrange payment of clearance fees and delivery to your taxidermist.
